integrity!

As I was spending some time with God, I started to think about all the times I gave my word and was unable to keep it. Sometimes I forget, sometimes I was physically unable, yet sadly too many times I just did not follow through. Immediately, I cried out to God for more of His Heart and His Word inside of me. I knew that I was lacking integrity.

Integrity means following your moral or ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching you. Having integrity means you are true to yourself and would do nothing that demeans or dishonours you. My sin of lack of integrity was to much for me. I believe that I have received forgiveness and that God has giving me a second chance. Have you ever promise to pay a bill with a certain amount on a specific day and have not? Have you ever told a friend that you will be someplace at a specific time and did not? or have you just lied to avoid an unpleasant situation? While I have. The thought of doing it truly makes me dejected. (They say that confession is good for the soul, but bad for the reputation, but Good with the reputation with God)

If you find that you are lacking in the area of integrity, than please go to God in the name of Jesus and ask Him to help you do better. Why?, because Integrity Still Counts. It was Frank Laws who penned..

"Watch your thoughts; they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch your habits; they become character.

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny

Let's Pray!

I thank You, Father that we are people of godly character and integrity. I ask now that You will strengthen our character even more than it is now, enabling us to conquer every temptation we face. Help us to be true to what we know is right and give us the ability to walk in integrity of heart. You, Father always provide a way of escape from life's temptations so we are enabled to bear up in the face of testings and trials. Keep our souls, Lord. Let integrity and uprightness preserve us. May we learn to wait on You more. Help us to see that the issues of life spring from our hearts and as we think in our hearts so are we. Give us more of Your grace to keep our hearts with all diligence.

I ask you to help us to be a faithful men and women who are just and filled with the integrity that comes from You, Father. This is my prayer for us, In Jesus' Name, Amen (so be it)
